Dr. Hunt

Veterinarian
Dr. Hunt's Bio
Dr. Hunt grew up in Michigan and graduated from MSU with her DVM in 2018. Prior to vet school, she worked in reference publishing for 15 years as a content manager and editor. She has worked in small animal practice since 2018 and is an AAFP-certified cat-friendly vet. She is a member of the AVMA, MVMA, and AAFP.

She enjoys reading, thrifting, and DIY. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.

She lives with her four cats, Mac, Pippi, Raylan, and Clementine.

Jessica has been working in the veterinary field since 2015. She attended Michigan State University and received her bachelor’s degree in animal science in 2017. Jessica joined Luv N Care Animal Hospital in March 2025. She prides herself in educating clients on the importance of preventative care. During her free time, Jessica enjoys reading, spending time with her husband, and cuddling her dog. She has two cats and a chihuahua.

Katie graduated from Macomb’s vet tech program in 2022. She joined Luv N Care Animal Hospital in November 2023. Katie knew from a very young age that she wanted to be an advocate for animals. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with friends and family, adventuring outdoors, and reading.

If you hear laughter echoing through the halls of Luv N Care Animal Hospital, there’s a good chance Hannah’s nearby. Hannah joined Luv N Care Animal Hospital in February 2021. She brings a perfect mix of skill, heart, and humor to the clinic every single day. She’s known for her compassion (yes, she cries over both good and bad news), her goofball energy, and her absolute devotion to every fur baby that walks through the door. Hannah is a proud Pitbull mom to three rescue pups. She has a soft spot for anything with a blocky head or a decent amount of chunk. She’s the clinic morale booster and the reason there’s never a dull moment.

Patience’s professional career with animals started in 2019, but she has had pets all her life! She grew up with dogs, cats, frogs, turtles, lizards, fish, horses, and lots of other animal friends. Some of her favorite breeds include Huskies, Belgian Malinois, Dobermans, Bengal Cats, Sphinx Cats, and more! Patience joined Luv N Care Animal Hospital in October 2022.
Patience has a husky mix named Mötley Rose, who sometimes you can catch working the front counter at the clinic! Mötley is currently 6 years old and loves to meet new friends at work. Stop by and say hi to them!

Linda has had a love for animals since she was little. She attended Oakland University and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2012. Linda joined Luv N Care Animal Hospital in August 2013. Linda prides herself in finding a personal connection with clients and their fur babies. During her free time, Linda is an avid reader, a lover of science and sci-fi; and loves her television shows.

Karim is one of the first people you’ll talk to when you call or visit the clinic, and he absolutely loves getting to know our clients and their pets. Karim joined Luv N Care Animal Hospital in July 2023. His goal is to help make your experience with us as smooth, friendly, and stress-free as possible—whether that’s scheduling an appointment, answering questions, or just giving your pet a little extra love while you wait.
